Your First Appointment

Welcome!

Although we are not registering new NHS patients at the moment we are registering new Independent patients.

Please contact us or talk to Reception.

For all new patients, the first appointment is a time for us to get to know you, review your medical history, listen to any concerns you might have and any of your dental health goals.

Your First Appointment

Your appointment will include a dental exam. Depending on the outcome of your dental exam and x-rays, the dentist will create a dental treatment plan for you.

Please alert the receptionist and dentist of any medical condition, e.g. diabetes, rheumatic fever, high/low blood pressure, artificial heart valves (pacemakers) or joints, etc. We also need to know if you are on any medication (i.e. heart medications, aspirin, anticoagulant therapy, etc.) or require medication before dental cleanings (e.g. antibiotics).

Contact us today to book your appointment or for more information.

Please Note:

  • If you are unable to make it to your appointment, please call the office at least 48 hours before the appointment so we can offer your time to another patient. 01403 252646
  • A parent or guardian must accompany all patients under 18 at the consultation visit.

COVID-19 UPDATE

As you are aware the Chief Dental Officer announced on 28 May, that dental practices across England will be allowed to begin the process of reopening for all emergency and routine face-to-face dental care from Monday 8 June.

We have been clear in all our communication throughout the pandemic, that our first priority is the wellbeing of our patients and colleagues, and this continues to be the case. As a result, Worthing Road Dental Practice will only be reopening once we are satisfied that we have all of the necessary processes and personal protective equipment (PPE) in place to ensure everyone’s safety.

Rest assured, we will be working through the information as quickly as possible as and when it becomes available.  We will be communicating directly with you soon and via our website with more information about when the practice will re-open. In the meantime, please do not attempt to make a new appointment. If you experiencing a dental emergency such as severe pain or need advice you should continue to contact the surgery who will be able to help on 01403 252646 or email us at appointments@worthingroaddentalpractice.com.

For out-of-hours emergency appointments:
